Exploring Temperature with Thermometers

This week we explored how to measure temperature using thermometers. After exploring and measuring a variety of temperatures around SVE, we measured water temperature. Each group of students received two cups of water, one cold and one warm. After making predictions and discussing their ideas, they measured the temperature of both cups of water. We then mixed the two cups of water to see how that changed the thermometers. Make sure to ask your child what he or she learned!
